Moneenroe National School opened its doors to the public on Tuesday evening at 7 pm to showcase the excellent facilities available to all pupils. It was strange to see children and teaching staff at school in late evening but it was education in the classrooms as normal. School days are the happiest days of all our lives and it was uplifting to see so many happy faces. The curriculum and range of subjects are certainly impressive and all so relevant towards early career formation. The community turned out in great numbers in a wonderful show of support, with the general consensus being if only we could turn back the clock.
