Banana Moon Productions are delighted to announce their latest play, OF ALL THE BARS which will be premiered at Castlecomer Discovery Park Complex on Saturday May 29 at 8.30 pm All proceeds will go towards a fighting fund for the National Coalminers Group. The play from an original script by Mark Rothwell, Neville Thompson and Michelle Burke, is a lighthearted nod to the iconic figures of the Rat Pack era. Its very fitting and most appropriate that the play should be performed in the shadow of the Mining Museum which chronicles over 300 years of local mining history and artifacts. A meeting of the National Coalminers Group will be held at 7.30 pm on the same night also at the Discovery Park. Mr. Gerry O’Connell, Solicitor will be in attendance to answer any questions. All local former miners are asked to please come along. Acceptance Forms and Client Identification Form will be available at this meeting.
