Jenkinstown Park and Woods Walk

Once the site of a magnificent country house and estate, all that remains now are some of the grand architectural features of the walled garden and magnificent woodland walks. The very tame deer that live within the garden which is now a picnic area always welcome a fresh carrot or apple! During the summer months, crafts and refreshments are available and its short, 10 minute drive from Castlecomer makes it an ideal destination for a relaxing woodland stroll.
